Haiti New Forest City: Possible Site

The Peninsular of Saint Nicolas is strategically placed to jut out into the crossroads of the Gulf of Mexico – Atlantic Sea traffic and also the North Eastern USA – Panama Canal shipping routes. In addition to this the topography is stepped at such a height that it provides the abbility to sustain both forest types found on the Island of Hispaniola. Both moist and dry forest types. Given the fact this area is the least prone to earthquake risk this could be a possible site for a productive city following a forestry industry.
